Capt. Don Chapel is located at the far side of the village (Brgy.) of Sapangbato, Pampanga. Headed by Pastor Freddie David, the town Balaraw is a community of Aetas who does not have a church, and their Sunday service is held at a temporary shelter.
Today, with the help of Servants of Christ International, they dream of having a church building for the community in the town (sitio) Balaraw can be reality, an answered prayer from the community.
The road going to the town (sitio) of Balaraw was severely damaged from the recent typhoon. Therefore, Jelo hired carabaos, several kolong kolong and a tractor to deliver the deliver the materials to the village.
After several difficult weeks in getting the materials to the village, the parsonage and chapel are now 95% complete.
Bear Valley Church in Lakewood, CO donated the funds to build the parsonage, a multi-purpose housing for the pastor and children’s pre-school during the week.

The 19-member USA mission team joined by the 8 PI mission team dedicated Capt. Don Chapel, the parsonage and water project on February 3, 2026.
Two elderlies (age 98 & 105 yrs young) have been praying and awaiting a church. They were part of Bataan death march camp in their younger year. They recall giving bananas to the Americans, prisoner of the Japanese during the WW II at Camp O’Donnel, Capas, Tarlac.
67 Aetas were baptized, praise God.
Robbie’s Sports Ministry provided a basketball, hoop and stand for the community.
Trinity Life Baptist Church donated a water tank that connects to a source for the community to have drinking water.
The Parsonage, which serves as a multi-purpose housing for the pastor & a preschool, was donated by Bear Valley Church, Lakewood, CO
